Adel Fox

Adel Fox is a Czech composer, singer, and vocal coach whose work moves between ambient, cinematic, and vocal music. She is known for her ethereal, emotional expression and layered vocal arrangements, often using the voice as a primary instrument.

 

Her music creates dreamy, atmospheric worlds where delicacy meets depth and strong emotional presence. Drawing inspiration from ambient and New Age music, as well as from the sound of Czech and Slovak fairy tales and film scores, she shapes a distinctive and personal sonic identity.

 

She has released six original albums, with her recent work placing a stronger emphasis on atmosphere, vocal layering, and elements inspired by sacred and choral traditions, including Gregorian chant.

 

Alongside her solo work, she collaborates with artists across genres on both local and international projects. She has contributed vocals to projects such as YUWAYTO (album Invasion of Tones), Mass at Midnight, and the song “Cizí hlas” for singer Petra Hapková and Daniel Vojtíšek. More recently, she appeared on “I Would Be Your Moon” with the project Hyrcasia.

 

She composed music for a theatre production at Prague’s Apropo Theatre and is currently working on new projects, including collaborations with lyricist Marek Blažíček and musician Jarda Čížek.

 

Her voice remains the core of her work—through vocal arrangements, choral textures, and sonic layering, she creates a unique musical language that has become her signature.
